Social approach to the fight against racism at local and regional level - Resolution 264 (2008)

While the struggle against racism is a legal and political obligation of states and regional and international intergovernmental organisations, the reality of racism is often most apparent at the level of local and regional governments. In this report, a number of actions are presented that can be undertaken at local and regional levels in preventing racism and promoting racial equality together with examples which may inspire other municipalities, towns and regions.
