The fight against violent extremism and radicalisation leading to terrorism - Action Plan 2015-2017

The purpose of this Action Plan, developed by the Council of Europe, is to create activities capable of supporting and reinforcing the efforts of member States with regard to the fight agains violent extremism and radicalisation leading to terrorism.

The Action Plan will cover the period 2015 - 2017 and has two objectives:

1. to reinforce the legal framework against terrorism and violent extremism
2. to prevent and fight violent radicalisation through concrete measures in the public sector, in particular schools and prisons, and on the Internet.
