Opinion of the Committee of the Regions on "Integration Policy and Intercultural Dialogue" (2008)

This document sets out the opinion of the Committee of the Regions on issues concerning intercultural dialogue, role of local authorities and successful integration. Finally, the Committee of the Regions feels that local authorities should establish an open dialogue with individual groups or sections within society, and then promote and support communication between these groups, organise meetings and educate people through lectures, festivals, exhibitions and other forms of activity.
