Opinion of the Committee of the Regions on "Combatting radicalisation and violent extremism: prevention mechanisms at local and regional level"

This document sets out the opinion of the Committee of the Regions on issues concerning countering radicalisation and violent extremism, and thereby underlining the importance of the role of local towns and regions and local and regional authorities in combatting the above mentioned issues.
